Hard to imagine its been 22 years since Sonic burst onto out sets. I've been a fan of the series pretty much that entire length and still am today.

To celebrate I've reviewed an Anniversary item today that actually from Sonic's 10th Anniversary. The highly regarded Sonic Soap Shoes plush! Here's the review on my YouTube page www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KYxBh… :)

How are you celebrating today? :meow:

I'm a day late on here ;P but yesterday (May 29th) was the 20th anniversary of the Fleetway published comic series, Sonic the Comic :iconhappybirthdayplz: (My birthday art ultimatefrieza.deviantart.com/… ) Though the comic itself ended 10 years ago it still remains strong with the fans with its online continuation with its strong supporters. The comic series now 20 years old has aged very well (unlike the Sonic fanbase). Here's a video I made for this celebration www.youtube.com/watch?v=ectYp9… featuring my entire STC collection :meow: Also check out STC-Online for there new strip out yesterday too which was written buy legendary long time Sonic the Comic writer Nigel Kitching and the artwork done by another STC legend Nigel Dobbyn. Here's the www.stconline.co.uk/261/contro…

I just recently completed the new DmC and I gotta say I was very impressed with what Ninja Theory have done. Admittedly I think it should have been a bit longer and it did seem to missing a few things but otherwise I really enjoyed it. Will be doing the harder difficulty's next. Now after watching IGN's top 10 Devil May cry bosses (entire series) and seeing as it was quite the poor choices I thought I would do my own. Spoilers ahead, These choices are from the whole series being 1,2,3,4 and the new reboot.

10th  Nefasturris and then Nefascapitas (DMC2)

Or known as the building boss. Despite not being a favorite of the series, Devil May Cry 2 had some awesome bosses. This being one of them. This is a prime example. When first you see this boss smash threw the side of the building and you see his impressive size (he is basically the size of the building)  you know you are in for one hell of a battle. After beating him you then have to fight him again straight afterwards as Nefascapitas  but just being his head.

9th Phantom (DMC1)

The first boss you come across in Devil May Cry and quite the impressive one. When first time playing he poses quite the challenge and also chases you threw various moments of the game. He also returns again in Devil May Cry 2 as another boss fight.

8th Bolverk (DMC2)

Another DMC2 boss. This guy is just awesome and the fact that you fight him with his pet wolves makes it quite memorable. His massive sword makes him quite imposing to face and on the harder difficulty's he insanely hard.

7 The Savior (DMC4)

If Nefasturris had blown you away with size then the Savior makes him look small on comparison.

6th Credo (DMC4)

Though not massive on scale compared to the others when you fight Credo you know your in for an awesome fight. definitely the best boss on DMC4.

5th Nightmare (DMC1)

without a doubt the hardest boss on the DMC1 when you play on the harder difficulty's. The 3rd fight with Nightmare is insanely hard and  almost impossible to fight without getting hurt plus his weak spots are a pain to attack on him, Not to mention when he drags you to a hell like place to face previous bosses to fight again

4th Mundus (DMC1 and DmC)

The Demon King himself being the last boss on DMC1 and second from last boss on DmC. Whether he his like a god like angel or a corrupt business lord he never fails to disappoint in epicness.

3th Jester (DMC3)

I love clowns or even more evil clowns. This is basically DMC's answer to The Joker. You do only fight him the Special Edition of DMC3 and he pops up for 3 fights. As you can imagine most of his attacks are somehow clown sized and has some classic lines.

2nd Bob Bardas (DmC)

I really like this boss and its my favorite boss on the new DmC. At first you might thing a new reporter is not going to be much of a fight but you are soon proven wrong! Imagine an Andross (from StarFox) style boss."Just doing Gods work".

1st Vergil, Nelo Angelo (DMC1, DMC3 and DmC)

Well this was a no brainer now was it :P Dante's own brother himself. Weather its the Mundus controlled Nelo Angelo form or his power hungry form from DMC3 you know each fight with Vergil is going to be epic as is hard. He does seem a bit weaker though in DmC though than he does in DMC3 or even as Nelo. Regardless he is 1st out of best bosses from the Devil Mat Cry series!

Thanks for reading :)

So I write this as England goes into its first hour of 2013. 2012 has been a mixed bag for sure for me, Starting off bad with a really crap job then changing it in June and since then things have been going quite well. Still shocks me how fast 2012 went. It really has not felt like a year went by that fast.

2013 should hold some important things lined up for me. But now here is my annual games list of the year of the top games that I played and released in 2012. Its only a top 8 list as I have not had as much time for gaming (in the first half of the year that is) as I would have liked so missed out a bit or due to lack of good games out.  So here it is :meow: my top 8 (maybe spoilers ahead) starting with 8th ->

8th Naruto Shippuden Generations (Xbox 360)
Okay so I have not fully finished this game yet :P but I am really enjoying it so far. Love the graphics and combat even if it is a little simplistic though the AI is brutal on high difficulty's :XD: The new anime scenes are great too !

7th Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City (Xbox 360)
So I know this game got a lot of stick but its not a bad 3rd person. Sure it does not stand up to the original games but it was never meant too. Love the nods to the original story lines in it. So many "ahhhh I know that bit" in this game that you will say if you have played Resident Evil 2-3.

6th Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed (Xbox 360)
This was a real shocker as to how much improvement this has to the original. Its definitely one of the best racers out there for pure fun even more so than Mario Kart. The level designs are very clever and the soundtrack is a wonderful assortment to classic SEGA themes. But be warned the difficultly is rock hard on higher modes :XD:

5th New Super Mario Bros U (Wii U)
Its early days at the mo for the Wii U but it looks like quite the promising console. First thing got me shocked :o was looking at Mario for the first time in HD. So bright and clear! Plus you get your usual platforming brilliance as expected from the plumber. Cant wait for a 3D Mario and Zelda !

4th Devil May Cry HD Collection (Xbox 360)
What a treat it is to play threw these 3 classics again and in full HD. Capcom have done a great job restoring these games and even DMC1 which is over 10 years old has not aged bad at all. These were some of my favorite games to play back on the PS2. I would highly recommend picking this game up !

3rd Sonic 4 part 2 (Xbox live)
So yea a Sonic game beating a Mario game in platforming on my list :XD: well being a very big Sonic fan I enjoyed this that bit more. Very impressive graphics and I really liked the inclusion of Tails. A lot better than part 1

2nd Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360)
It was a close one between this and my first spot as I loved playing both so much. A truly fantastic way to end the trilogy and one of the best deep story lines in gaming  history. I'm not sure why people hated the ending really? Did they just want Shepard to blow all the reapers up and live happily ever after? It had a very unique ending but I would recommend downloading the  extra dlc to see the full ending. Looking forward to ME4 !

1st Resident Evil 6 (Xbox 360)
Wow, what a lot of controversy this game caused in the gaming world. Some loved it and some hated it. It is truly quite different from RE4 and RE5 in terms of gamplay in how you move and what you do but with a total of 4 campaigns with each being around the 7 hour mark for first time players, as well as mercenaries as well as several other modes this game has tons of replay value. This games great even if you only play Leon's campaigns. Though I would not choose this as my favorite Resident Evil game it is the best and most fun game I've played this year. Still playing to this today getting the achievements with a whopping 75 hours clocked so far on it. I say Capcom did a great job with this game.

And thats it. Games I'm looking at for 2013 are ->

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3

Injustice: Gods among us

Possibly the new DMC (even though I do dislike the new look for Dante)

And that's it so far. Not really a great looking year for games so far but we shall se.
